Easter and Aunt Ali Visits :)

Yup, that would be the best Easter picture I could get, but oh well we had a wonderful day:) Tucker was finally feeling better and up acting like his wild self. His sickness that has been ongoing for the past month deserves a post of its own at a later date when we hopefully have some answers. Regardless, the kids woke up to a wonderful Easter morning with lots of goodies and Mommas bunny pancakes followed by Easter bunny Christmas at Omas:) Tucker was so excited to see Aunt Ali, he wanted to dye eggs with her, go the the egg hunt with her and just loved hanging out with her, Annie Mae on the other hand was at first a bit shy... but can now say Ali and by the second day had a blast with her. Debbie my mother in law made a great meal and a good time was had by all. It was hot and muggy with an occasional thunder storm but just a very blessed day. Once we got home it took me about three hours to get all the gifts in order and put away and all the tags off the clothes and washed. Thank you Debbie for a wonderful Easter, and Aunt Ali come home.... WE MISS YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!

Baby #3 on the way.

I'm back:) Only took a year in a half right? I am going to try this again. Tucker is now 4 years and 3 months, Annie is 1 year and 7 months, and I am due September 2nd with another little boy. We cannot wait. To say the last year in a half was challenging would definitely be an understatement. In November of 2009 Tucker was diagnosed with Cortical Dysplasia. Shortly after that he was diagnosed with strabismus and amblyopia of his left eye. Needless to say he now is in the early intervention program through the county receiving speech and occupational therapy. He also attends private speech therapy twice a week and occupational therapy an hour a week, therefore i have been busy. Good excuse right? As far as Annie she is doing wonderful. She is only 8 lbs lighter then Tucker, is all boy, but will occasionally carry her dolls around, has been using the potty since she was 18months, and is nothing but a Gem. I feel sad for her come September and the new baby, but Tucker adjusted just fine so I am confident she will too. Baby #3 is doing good. I am halfway done (hooray) and just can't wait to meet him. This pregnancy is flying by i think because I have two others to keep me busy. Another thing, June of 2010 I stopped working at the company I had been at for a long time to stay home. It truly is a blessing, and I am fortunate to watch one of my closest friends daughters who is 4 months older then Annie. They get along great and she is an awesome little girl. Shane is well, he got a new Job as a Service Manager with the same company and that sure keeps him busy. He still enjoys buying/ trading/ selling anything he can get his hands on. We are good just continuing our journey and looking forward to becoming a family of 5 :)
